Just a brief detour from a stroll among the greenery of Shakujii Park, RAHMS COFFEE offers a peaceful spot to pause and recharge. Light wood tones define the interior, where generous windows let in soft natural light, setting a calm tone for a quiet break during a neighborhood walk.

At the counter, the spotlight is on hand-drip coffee, carefully brewed to showcase the character of different origins and roast levels. Espresso-based creations are just as thoughtful, featuring drinks like the dirty latte—which layers warm, rich dark-roast espresso atop chilled milk to highlight the contrast in temperatures—and a cafe mocha enriched with homemade chocolate sauce. Beyond coffee, the menu includes a house-spiced chai infused with cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, as well as a brisk lemon squash crafted with Meyer lemons from Awaji Island.

The pastry counter provides plenty of temptation alongside the drinks. Crisp, fragrant scones, distinctive muffins such as honey and Camembert, and spiced carrot cake pair seamlessly with freshly brewed coffee. For a chilled dessert, guests can treat themselves to an affogato made with house-churned milk ice cream, a shot of espresso, and a crunchy tuile, or scoops of strawberry and mascarpone ice cream dotted with fruit.
